JCL was a happy ‘accident’! I intended to pursue my CPA after earning my diploma in Business Administration. Then, I found my superpower during my 3-year stint in public practice. I loved easing the worry of business owners during the initial panicked calls and understood that good bookkeeping was the foundation for any successful business. Knowing I thrive on building close relationships with my clients, doing their taxes just once a year as an accountant wasn’t going to cut it! So, I became certified as a Professional Bookkeeper and a QuickBooks Advanced Proadvisor.

 

In 2019 JCL Strategies was born, and seeing that green checkmark when month-end books are balanced is still the ultimate satisfaction for me. I challenge anyone who says bookkeeping can’t be fun - in our office, line items and laughter go hand in hand. 

 

When I’m not working or learning new tech tools, you'll find me planning my next adventure, hanging out with my animals, Fallyn, Fendi, Finley, and Foster, renovating my home, or doing things in the yard.
